The Repair Angels at Smith-Martin Autobody & Collision have been guiding Tucsonans through accident Hell for over 40 years. Knowing that accidents are headache enough, we strive to make the repair and insurance claims process hassle free.

Meet the Repair Angels working to get you driving again:

Fred Lopez

Fred Lopez has been with Smith-Martin since 1983, and is lead Customer Service Representative. He is fluent in Spanish and can assist Spanish-speaking clients through the insurance and repair process.

Freddy is the father of 3 teenage boys, so when he’s not working at the shop he can usually be found on the field or court coaching his son’s various sports teams. Fred is a native of Tucson and a graduate of Pueblo High School.

 

 

Ian Morton

Ian has been with Smith-Martin since 1998. Ian is trained and experienced in all areas of collision shop management, and currently serves as Repair Process Manager. He is responsible for estimating, blueprinting, production management, and general shop managerial duties.

Ian has received both ICAR and AMI training, and is a graduate of the Vale National Institute. He is a father of 2, and time away from the shop is spent usually with them traveling to lakes and mountains.

 

Rob Martin

After attending the University of Arizona, Rob began work in the auto collision repair industry in 1982. He became part owner of the company when he was 27 years old. Since then he has launched several other successful auto & truck repair businesses.

Rob has served on the Board of Directors of the Tucson BBB, and was instrumental in the formation of the BBB’s Auto Repair Advisory Committee (ARAC). He also helped found the Southern Arizona chapter of the Arizona Collision Craftsman’s Association. After its formation, he served for 4 years on the local board, and then was elected to the State’s Board of Directors, where he served for 4 more years.

Rob is the married father of 3 grown children, and lives his life by the motto…”I Fish, Therefore I am”.
